Dan Wiedenhoff – Director of Operations/Commercial Real Estate

    Since 1987 Mr. Wiedenhoff has been a significant force as a property tax representative. Dan is a State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser. Dan began his employment with Protax LLC as Chief Appraiser from 1994 until 2003 and returned to his current position in 2011.

    Dan has prepared tax studies for all types of commercial and industrial properties. He is recognized as one of the industry’s leading appraisers, when measuring the results he has attained at the Assessment Appeals Board.

    Between his years of employment at Protax LLC, Dan provided appraisals for many Fortune 500 companies. Between 2006 and 2011 Dan managed $24 Billion in assets for Thomas Reuters, formerly Deloitte & Touche, and was the lead participant in affecting value reductions of $1Billion in 2009.

    Dan graduated with his B.S. Degree in Integrated Studies and Marketing Management/Real Estate from Weber State University in Utah. He has successfully completed all the courses required to meet the designation of the Member Appraisal Institute (MAI). He is a member of the California Association of Taxpayer Advocates.
